Fund safety is of the utmost importance to us, and we adhere to the strictest security and regulation criteria in order to insure that. Gain Capital Payments Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (firm no.720701) and HM Revenue & Excise as a Money Transmitter (MLR No 12849712 ). All client funds are held in bank accounts that are entirely separate to the company’s own. Your funds will never mix with our operating funds as part of our strict safeguarding protocols. Transfer times vary according to the time and type of your transfer you’re looking to do along with the destination country.

For example, a GBP to USD transfer to USA sent before 15.30 GMT, via free regular transfer, will arrive in 2 working hours. If you’re make a GBP to USD transfer to USA via priority transfer (£5.50), sent before 15.30 GMT, it will arrive the same day. For exotic currencies, a GBP to AED transfer to UAE, via priority transfer (£5.50), sent before 13.00, will take 2 working days.

You have two options to pay for your transfer, either via debit card up to £100,000 or via a bank wire.

If you are using your debit card please note that you might need to inform your bank first to speed up the authorisation process and prevent blocks and delays. can only accept payments when the account holder is the payee. We cannot accept 3rd party payments, including companies that are fully owned by the account holder.

You can find your IBAN (International Bank Account Number) number through your bank or bank statements which help overseas banks identify your accounts for payments. For information on SWIFT codes, which help an overseas bank to know which bank to send your money to, please see here.

By confirming a transfer with, you enter into a legally binding contract, even if your confirmed trade is not settled. Charges and rates

All standard transfers are free. Priority transfers are £5.50 or free for trades of £5000+ or equivalent. Please see our currencies list for more details.

Our exchange rates are determined by the live market. This means that the rates we offer are subject to fluctuation and can only be confirmed when your transfer is confirmed in our online portal.

Sometimes the beneficiary or intermediary banks pass on charges to international wire transfers. Priority transfers may trigger a fee or charge on the receiving end which is out of our control, unfortunately.


You’re able to make international payments using from Monday to Friday 06:00 – 22.00 GMT and 23.30 - 06.00 GMT, excluding weekends and bank holidays.

Please note: you’re able to register and pay for a booked trade with over weekends and bank holidays but we cannot accept new orders outside of the hours above. can help with transferring money abroad for your holiday or travel needs, but we do not handle cash requirements at all.

We do not have a mobile app at the moment, but our product is fully-optimised to work on mobile browsers. 60% of our customers use us via a mobile device already.

Firstly, be assured that your transfer is not confirmed yet. Sometimes transfers go into manual review. When they do, we review the information you have provided and will let you know shortly when you can continue and confirm your trade/transfer.
